New studio release for June, 2005. This captures Denis live in the studio in that each recording was recorded live in the studio with no overdubs. All the material was improvised by Denis on the spot and performed live by him. Denis had just changed to an all new setup and also a new guitar, a Parker. This recording is in stark comparison to previous releases as it does take the listener in a new direction. Denis used many different and unique clean guitar textures to create a wall of sound. The CD is void of Denis's usual bass emulations and also focuses more on clean sounds and sound quality giving the compositions an icy tone, hence the title.
